ADAN WADDELL, 19, is currently a freshman at The Colburn School
and a student of Robert Lipsett. Adam has soloed with several orchestras in Washington,
including the Seattle Symphony. He has won competitions such as the Washington
Music Educators Association State Solo Competition, The Seattle Youth Symphony
Orchestra Concerto Competition, and The Performing Arts Festival of the Eastside
Concerto Competition. He was concertmaster of The Seattle Youth Symphony Orchestra.
As a student of the Seattle Conservatory of Music, Adam was a Dorothy Richards
Starling Violin Scholar. This summer, Adam plans to attend the ENCORE Summer School
for Strings, where he will continue his studies with Robert Lipsett.
