Caitlin Kelley,
a native of Seattle, Washington began studying the violin at age 7. A
former concertmaster of the Seattle Youth Symphony, she has twice been
a featured soloist with the orchestra. She has also soloed with several
other orchestras, including the Auburn Symphony. A frequent participant
in competitions, Caitlin was most recently a finalist in both the Seattle
Young Artists Music Festival, and the Schlern International Music Festival
Competition. Caitlin has been a guest on the national radio show ‘From
the Top’, which features young classical musicians, and was chosen
to receive one of their Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Awards. In the summers,
she has participated in several music festivals, including the Aspen Music
Festival. Caitlin is currently studying with Robert Lipsett at the Colburn
School in Los Angeles.
